Volontärbyrån is a non-profit organisation which uses our website www.volontarbyran.org to make it easy for volunteers and non-profit organisations to connect with each other. We publicise volunteering opportunities throughout Sweden, and train voluntary organisations in volunteer co-ordination. Our matching service makes it easy to both search for and advertise volunteering opportunities, and is free for both volunteers and non-profit organisations.

It feels good to be involved with something that helps others, and at Volontärbyrån we want to help more people to have opportunity to do this. Volontärbyrån was founded in 2002 and is part of Forum för Frivilligt Socialt Arbete (www.socialforum.se). Its activities are financed by support from government, companies, municipalities and foundations.
