Netball Sweden is a not for profit organisation to to promote, develop and administer Netball in Sweden. This team ball sport arose in London in the 1890s as a blend of basketball, hockey and football rules. The International Netball Federation recognised founder of the sport was Swedish born Martina Bergman Österberg, information we hope to correct online to the 20 million International netball players. Our organisations members are individual Swedish Netball clubs. We assist the clubs to develop in line with RF policies and represent their interests Internationally as part of a European emerging Netball countries group under Netball Europe.
