Join Our Language Café Team
We're looking for volunteers to join our Language Café at Refugees Welcome Stockholm.
You'll help create a welcoming space where people can practice Swedish, connect with others, and share stories over a cup of coffee.
You'll support and guide discussions together with the café leads.
Minimum commitment
The assignment takes place every other Tuesday and lasts about 3–4 hours per occasion. No teaching experience is needed — just an open attitude, good Swedish skills, and a friendly smile! You can also combine this role with volunteering in our kitchen or café if you’d like to take part in more of our activities.
When and where the opportunity takes place
The Language Café takes place every other Tuesday at Refugees Welcome Stockholm’s community space (Telefonplan). You’ll volunteer alongside other engaged people who share a passion for community and inclusion.

Refugees Welcome Stockholm är en religiöst och partipolitiskt obunden organisation vars syfte är att hjälpa människor på flykt som kommer till Stockholm. Med hjälp av bidrag från privatpersoner och företag arbetar RWS för att ge dessa människor ett värdigt bemötande och den hjälp de behöver, både för stunden och på längre sikt.
