National Board Member Climate Students Sweden

Climate Students help Sweden's higher education institutions rapidly reduce their emissions in line with their own research. The National Board is an energized and inclusive group of people who mix joyful and serious business - now is your chance to join! To fit well in the role as a board member, we believe that you are well acquainted with the climate issues, have a great personal commitment to the climate issue, and are eager to act. Previous involvement in one of the Climate Students' local groups, or of board work is a merit but not a requirement. We are specifically looking for someone interested in communication, leading or participating in projects.

The board works according to the Climate Students' plan of operations with the organization, internationalization, and advocacy work. In addition to the ongoing board work, a ranking of the higher education institutions' climate work and a national conference is conducted every year. Sitting board members describe the commitment as incredibly fun, educational, strengthening self-confidence, and a merit on the CV. It is as challenging as it is evolving, and is guaranteed to expand your network of climate-conscious people! In terms of time, the commitment takes an estimated 3-5 hours a week, but it varies depending on the projects.

The commitment runs from the annual meeting on May 31st, 2022 until the May annual meeting of 2023 (i.e. at least one year). The last day to apply is May 17th and interviews are ongoing - so apply now! Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
