Save the Children´s local association in Lund is looking for a project leader for the Kids in Transit (KiT) project!

Are you interested in children’s rights and specifically migration issues? Do you want to be a part of a team that help kids in transit, you should apply for the position as project leader! 

The Kids in Transit team works in connection with a reception center in Malmö, where we organize activities on a weekly basis for the children residing there in a safe, welcoming environment. KiT is an exciting and rewarding project where you will have the opportunity to get a broader understanding of the current migration issues in Sweden. 

As one of the project leaders, you are expected to spend approximately 10 hours a month on voluntary commitment. You will plan and organize weekly trips to a migration center in Malmo with the other project leaders. Besides that, you will have regular meetings with other project leaders to discuss progress, activities, and financial issues and recruit volunteers for the project. 

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organization skills, enthusiasm and creativity, and experience of working with children. It is an international project, hence it is not required to speak Swedish, although having basic skills would be an advantage.
