The festival
Gothenburg Fringe Festival 2023 takes place on 1-10 September and we're on the hunt for volunteers to help us make the festival the best it could possibly be. We are hosting our 7th year of international as well as local performing art festival in 10 different venues. Gothenburg Fringe is all about cutting-edge performances in unique spots around Gothenburg but we are also a place in which volunteers return year after year because of the kind and cheerful spirit among artists, volunteers and audience.
Do you want to join an international team of passionate festival organiser?
Currently we are looking for people who would like to run, set up and take down stage tech during the festival program. Previous experience is a plus but not mandatory. If you also like to learn, you can go on the side of someone more experienced.
We are arranging a first meet up in beginning of June for you to meet the rest of the team of volunteers and to get a feel of the festival before you decide if you like to join or not. After that you get introduction to your working tasks before your first shift.
Part of Fringe is to join an international community of people loving performing arts and having fun!

Minsta åtagande
Minimum engagement is 1-2 shifts (3-6 hours). It's also important to join a meeting where we tell you all information before the event. This requires around 1 hour. The festival aslo serves several opportunities to just have a fun and social time with the other volunteers.
När och var sker uppdraget
According to festival schedule made in respect to your availability. The festival is happening from 1-10 september (most shifts in the evening) and first information meeting will happen in beginning of June. Show your interest and we give you more information.
