Beskrivning

This is an important role within Action10. Your responsibilities include participating in the organization of physical and online events for Action10, as well as in the organization of fundraising activities, generating ideas and new ways of fundraising in Sweden, and managing relationships with current and potential donors. Due to the nature of the role, the person in this position must be very comfortable in both written and spoken English, and must be able to attend the monthly meetings (evenings on the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month).

Requirements and skills:

Cross-cultural understanding and interest
Experience from working in Africa or with African organizations / companies is a plus
A creative person with the flavour for idea-generating in the NGO sector
Good communicator in both written and oral forms
Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English
Living in Stockholm

About Action10:

We work with a group of volunteers in Sweden who support our projects in Sub-Saharan African countries. The volunteers are organised in different working groups reflecting their purpose within the organisation. 5-10 hours per week independent work with flexible time, plus 2 meetings per month (approximately 4 hours total) evenings of the first Tuesday and Wednesday of each month. Potential to meet in Stockholm.
