Volontärbyrån processes your personal data in accordance with GDPR and Swedish law. Here we explain how we use your data and what rights you have as a coordinator.
When do we collect personal data?
- We collect personal data when you:
- create a coordinator account
- publish opportunities for volunteers
- communicate with us through the service
Your data is only used for clear and lawful purposes.
What personal data do we process?
We process the following data:
- name
- email address
- phone number
- information about your organisation
- IP address
Why do we process your personal data?
We use your personal data to:
- connect you, your organisation, and volunteers
- administer your account
- show contact details to people who express interest in your opportunities
- send information about Volontärbyrån’s services
- produce statistics and develop our services
When someone expresses interest in an opportunity, your organisation receives their personal data. In these cases, your organisation and Volontärbyrån are joint data controllers.
The legal basis for processing is legitimate interest and, in some cases, consent.
Who has access to your data?
- Volunteers can see the contact details you have chosen to display.
- In some cases, we use trusted partners, such as IT providers or survey providers.
How long do we keep your data?
We store your personal data for as long as necessary for its purpose or as required by law. When the data is no longer needed, it is deleted.
Your rights under GDPR
You are in control of your personal data.
You have the right to:
- know what personal data we have about you
- have incorrect data corrected
- have your data deleted when it is no longer needed
- request that processing be restricted in certain cases
- object to how your data is used
- receive your data in a portable format
