Do you want to contribute to a sustainable future by combining your interest in engineering with volunteer engagement? Engineers Without Borders at Chalmers is looking for a Head of Finance!

As Head of Finance you are responsible for ensuring the financial stability and long-term sustainability of Engineers Without Borders Chalmers. You play a central role in enabling the organization’s projects, events, and initiatives by securing funding and building strong corporate relationships. You will also be a part of the management board and work closely with its members.

You oversee the organization’s finances and manage relationships with local partner companies. This includes maintaining existing collaborations while actively identifying and developing new funding opportunities. You work strategically with partnerships, financial planning, and long-term resource development to ensure that EWB can continue to grow and create impact.

We are looking for someone who:

Is structured and responsible
Has an interest in finance, partnerships, and strategic development
Is comfortable communicating with companies and external stakeholders
Wants to contribute to the long-term growth of the organization

In this role, you gain valuable experience in financial management, negotiations, and corporate relations while playing a key part in making the organization’s work possible.

Minsta åtagande

The position is available to current students at Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg, and you are expected to be committed for 2 semesters. We expect you to participate in regular meetings and projects, but the time commitment is flexible and adapted to your studies.

The work is primarily remote with flexible hours. Physical meetings at Chalmers campus may occasionally occur.
