Do you want to contribute to a sustainable future by combining your interest in engineering with volunteer engagement? Engineers Without Borders at Chalmers is looking for a Group leader!

As Group Leader, you hold a central leadership position within Engineers Without Borders Chalmers. You are responsible for ensuring that the local chapter fulfills its mission and that all committees have the support and resources they need to succeed.

You maintain insight into ongoing and future initiatives across all committees and act as a unifying force within the organization. The role includes aligning the organization toward shared goals, supporting committee leaders, and ensuring overall progress. You are also the outward face of EWB: meeting companies, speaking at lectures and events, and representing the organization externally. In addition, you serve as the link to the national board and participate in regular meetings with group leaders from other local chapters in Sweden.

Is confident in a leadership role
Enjoys coordination and strategic oversight
Communicates clearly and collaborates well with others
Is motivated by helping others succeed

This is a unique opportunity to develop leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational management skills while guiding the entire chapter forward.

Minsta åtagande

The position is available to current students at Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg, and you are expected to be committed for 2 semesters. We expect you to participate in regular meetings and projects, but the time commitment is flexible and adapted to your studies.

När och var sker uppdraget

The work is primarily remote with flexible hours. Physical meetings at Chalmers campus may occasionally occur.
