Become part of the Decoration Team for Uppsala Pride 2026!
As a volunteer you will be part of organizing Uppsala's annual Pride festival. The event will run for the full day on Saturday 26th of September 2026 at Uppsala Pride House (Uppsala Konsert & Kongress). Uppsala Pride 2025 had about 4000 visitors, and we expect a similar amount this year.
The decoration team will make the venue for Uppsala Pride House 2026 look as colorful, gorgeus, and gay as possible. This involves putting up flags, pumping balloons, creating signs, and much more. Starting on the evening on Friday 25th, and continuing on Saturday morning. Tasks are assigned based on wishes and ability, and you will be working alongside a team.
Volunteering is open to both English and Swedish speakers.

Minimum commitment
The decoration team will start decorating alongside RFSL-staff on Friday evening, and continue the work in the morning on the day of Pride. Depending on the number of volunteers, we count that each shift take between 3-4 hours. But remember, even the smallest help from you counts!
