Comminications Volunteer

As a Communications Volunteer, you will support Suma Haven with the organization’s communications and social media. You will create engaging content, tell stories that amplify BIPOC voices, and help strengthen a platform rooted in culture, community, and belonging. You will work creatively with platforms and tools such as Instagram, Facebook, Canva, and CapCut, while also monitoring reach and engagement.

Minimum commitment

The assignment runs for 6 months, with the possibility of an extension by mutual agreement. Initially requiring approximately 5 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing. The role involves ongoing weekly activities, including posting on social media twice a week and hosting a themed conversation on Instagram Stories once a week. Weekly planning and support meetings are included, as well as monthly follow-ups.

When and where the opportunity takes place

The assignment is hybrid and based in Stockholm. The start date will be agreed upon. The work can partly be carried out remotely, but some activities, such as filming interviews and other content, may need to take place on-site.
