Parade guards walking alongside Uppsala Pride Parade 2026
As a volunteer you will be part of organizing Uppsala's annual Pride festival. The event will run for the full day on Saturday 26th of September 2026 at Uppsala Pride House (Uppsala Konsert & Kongress). Uppsala Pride 2025 had about 4000 visitors, and we expect a similar amount this year.
We are looking for people who'd like to help out making this year's Uppsala Pride Parade as fun and safe as possible. As a parade guard working alongside the parade, you will be a part of a team making sure that the parade keeps its route and width during its route. Tasks are assigned based on wishes and ability, and you will be working alongside a team.

Volunteering is open to both English and Swedish speakers.
Minimum age for application to this task is 18.

Minimum commitment
The task will take two hours in total, where we gather outside of Uppsala Konsert & Kongress for line-up, and make sure everything is in order.
