Team Member to Sustainability Group at EWB-Chalmers
Do you want to help strengthen student engagement in sustainability through collaboration and joint initiatives? Engineers Without Borders Chalmers is now looking for new members to join the Sustainability Group.
As a Team Member in the Sustainability Group, you are part of an engaged team that plans and carries out activities focused on sustainability. The group’s work is built on collaborations, both within the organization and with external partners, where you together create initiatives that engage and inspire students. You will help develop ideas into concrete activities while ensuring that the work aligns with EWB’s goals and values.
Together with your team, you will organize at least one event per study period, such as workshops, lectures, or collaborations with other organizations. A central part of the role is to initiate and develop collaborations, as well as contribute to develop new ideas, planning, and execution of activities.
We are looking for someone who has an interest in sustainability, is engaged, and enjoys working in a team. You are proactive, responsible, and motivated to help develop the group’s work.
The role offers experience in project work, event planning, and collaboration with different actors, as well as the opportunity to build a valuable network within an international and values-driven organization.
Minimum commitment
The position is open to students at Chalmers University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg. We expect you to be engaged for at least two semesters. The time commitment is flexible and can be adapted to your studies, but includes regular meetings and work related to projects and events.
When and where the opportunity takes place
The group holds weekly in-person meetings on Chalmers campus, with the possibility of some additional work carried out remotely. The workload varies depending on projects and events.
