Traffic Marshalls/Parade Guards for Uppsala Pride Parade 2026
As a volunteer you will be part of organizing Uppsala's annual Pride festival. The event will run for the full day on Saturday 26th of September 2026 at Uppsala Pride House (Uppsala Konsert & Kongress). Uppsala Pride 2025 had about 4000 visitors, and we expect a similar amount this year.
We are looking for people who'd like to help out making this year's Uppsala Pride Parade as fun and safe as possible. As a traffic marshall/parade guard you will be a part of a team standing at intersections along the parade route and making sure that the parade has a free way to go. Tasks are assigned based on wishes and ability, and you will be working alongside a team.

Volunteering is open to both English and Swedish speakers.
Minimum age for application to this task is 18.

Minimum commitment
The task will take two hours in total, where you take your positions based on where you've been assigned to stand, and wait there until the parade passes by. When the parade has passed by your intersection, you're free to join the parade, as your duty has now been completed.
