Vice Groupleader for EWB Umeå
Do you want to help build and strengthen Engineers Without Borders Umeå from within?
As Vice Group Leader, you work closely with the Group Leader to establish structure, support the board, and create a positive and functioning organization. While the Group Leader focuses mainly on external relations, your focus is internal coordination and development.
You will:
- Support and guide the board
- Lead recruitment processes
- Plan kick-offs and teambuilding activities
- Document meetings and maintain structure
- Be the go-to person for internal questions (GDPR, communication, organization)
This role gives you practical leadership experience, organizational responsibility, and insight into how a non-profit board operates. It is a strong addition to your CV and demonstrates initiative, coordination skills, and long-term commitment — qualities highly valued in both industry and academia.
Minimum commitment
The role requires approximately 4 hours per week.
