Join us and make a difference at RBUF:s congress!
Would you like to help create an inspiring, inclusive, and democratic meeting place for young people from across Sweden? We are now looking for dedicated volunteers who want to contribute to making RBUF’s congress a success!
The congress is the highest decision-making meeting of Save the Children Youth Sweden (RBUF) and takes place once a year. During the congress, members from across the country gather to make decisions about the organisation’s activities, board, future direction, and the issues RBUF will work on.
As a volunteer, you will play an important role in making the event happen and help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive experience for all participants.

Examples of tasks
- Help with serving food, washing dishes, and preparing coffee breaks.
- Assist with logistics, signage, and practical preparations.
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere.
We are looking for someone who
- Shares RBUF’s commitment to children’s and young people’s rights.
- Shares RBUF’s values and policies.
- Is responsible, cooperative, and enjoys meeting new people.
- Can participate during all or part of the event.
- No previous experience is required! You will receive an introduction before the assignment.
- Is between 18-30 years old
You will get
- To be part of an engaged and welcoming team.
- To meet members aged 0–25 from across Sweden who are passionate about children’s rights.
- Experience working with a larger event.
- A certificate confirming your volunteer work after completing the assignment as well as a "Child Safeguarding" certificate.
Compensation: This is a voluntary, unpaid role. Travel, accommodation and meals will be provided.
Minsta åtagande
The role will take place across an entire weekend, from Friday the 2nd of October at 4pm to Sunday the 4th of October at 12pm.

You will be at a retreat outside of Upplands Bro.

Rädda Barnens Ungdomsförbund är ett förbund där alla upp till 25 år kan vara medlemmar. Vi är ett förbund av barn och unga för barn med verksamhet som bygger på frivilligt engagemang. Vi är ett religiöst och partipolitiskt obundet förbund, som kämpar för barnets rättigheter och för att Barnkonventionen, FN:s konvention om barnets rättigheter, ska efterlevas och respekteras. Vi kämpar för att barn och ungas tankar, åsikter och erfarenheter ska tas på allvar i alla lägen. Vi är inte framtiden, vi är nu!
