Do you want to make a difference for families going through a difficult time? Ronald McDonald House in Uppsala is a family accommodation that offers families with sick children a safe and home-like environment – a "home away from home."
Here, families can stay together close to the hospital and take a break from the hospital setting while also having the opportunity to support one another. As a volunteer, you help create a warm and welcoming environment.
Your tasks may include preparing and serving breakfast, keeping common areas pleasant, and contributing to the caring atmosphere that makes our house unique.

Minimum commitment
Approximately 3 hours per week. We especially appreciate help in the mornings between 7-10 AM, when we serve breakfast for the families (currently twice a week). Other possible times are weekdays from 9 AM to 12 PM or 1 PM to 4 PM.
When and where the opportunity takes place
The mission takes place at Ronald McDonald House, Blåsenhusgatan 6, Uppsala, opposite the hospital.
