Cycle and Spread Joy in Bergsjön!
Would you like to do something meaningful a few hours a month?
As a volunteer in Cycling without age, you can help elderly people in Bergsjön enjoy delightful bike rides in the area and feel the wind in their hair!
About the assignment B
Every Wednesday between 10 AM and 12 PM, a group of volunteers meets at the Church of Sweden in Bergsjön. We offer social time in the cafe and bike rides for older people who wish to join and enjoy the beautiful nature in the area.
We ride a modern and safe electric bike with comfortable front sofa for two passengers. The length of each ride depends on the person(s) who want to join and can be adjusted each time.
When the weather does not allow cycling, we conduct other activities such as having coffee together, playing board games, and socializing.
Shaow volunteer – practice Swedish while volunteering
You can also join as a shadow volunteer, following an experienced volunteer. This is perfect if you want to practice Swedish i social situations try volunteering in a supportive environment.
We are looking for someone who
- Wants to create social connections for older adults
- Can ride a bicycle (training on the electric bike is provided)
- Share the values of the Red Cross
What you get as a volunteer

- Introduction and support in your volunteer role.
- Opportunities to participate in Red Cross courses and training.
Minimum commitment
Twice a month, around 2 hours per session.

Every second Wednsday, 10:00 AM- 12:00 AM Location: Church of Sweden in Bergsjön.
