Head of Finance for EWB-Chalmers

As Head of Finance you are responsible for ensuring the financial stability and long-term sustainability of Engineers Without Borders Chalmers. You play a central role in enabling the organization’s projects, events, and initiatives by securing funding and building strong corporate relationships. You will also be a part of the management board and work closely with its members.
As Head of Finance you are responsible for ensuring the financial stability and long-term sustainability of Engineers Without Borders Chalmers. You play a central role in enabling the organization’s projects, events, and initiatives by securing funding and building strong corporate relationships. You will also be a part of the management board and work closely with its members.
You oversee the organization’s finances and manage relationships with local partner companies. This includes maintaining existing collaborations while actively identifying and developing new funding opportunities. You work strategically with partnerships, financial planning, and long-term resource development to ensure that EWB can continue to grow and create impact.

- Has an interest in finance, partnerships, and strategic development
- Is comfortable communicating with companies and external stakeholders
- Wants to contribute to the long-term growth of the organization
In this role, you gain valuable experience in financial management, negotiations, and corporate relations while playing a key part in making the organization’s work possible.
Minimum commitment
The position is available to current students at Chalmers University of Technology and University of Gothenburg, and you are expected to be committed for 2 semesters. We expect you to participate in regular meetings and projects, but the time commitment is flexible and adapted to your studies.
When and where the opportunity takes place
The work is primarily remote with flexible hours. Physical meetings at Chalmers campus may occasionally occur.
