Do you want to help spread information to the citizens of society and to the media about public documents by organizing events and meetups? Open Knowledge Sweden is looking for people who want to do volunteer work with information from authorities that facilitate communication with the public sector and increase transparency in Sweden.
Open Knowledge Sweden is a non-profit association where the Handlingar.se project is housed. Actions strive to strengthen and improve transparency in public organizations using the principle of openness as a tool. With curious and engaged citizens, we together make digital transparency greater and more current in Sweden.

About:
The Handlingar.se project arranges meetups, presentations and participates in conferences and panel discussions. We are now looking for people who want to help arrange events with Handlingar.se, as well as help the project be visible at external events. As well as maintaining and making contact with partners together with the project team.
Handlingar.se is run by non-profit forces within the association.

Minimum commitment
2 hours a month to plan or implement events. We aim for 1 event every two months. We mainly work asynchronously, but meet on video calls when necessary.
