Join our Social Media team for Uppsala Pride 2026!
As part of the social media team, you work closely in a team consisting of two other social media managers. Together you will decide on how you want to divide the different tasks between you. You will support each other and also have the support of the rest of the Pride Planning Group so you do not need to be an expert.
Volunteering is open to both English and Swedish speakers.
Minimum commitment
As part of the social media team, you will help to: Plan, edit and otherwise create posts for the different areas for Pride. Area 1: PRIDE WEEK Film promotional videos for Pride Week *Edit these before they are posted. *Pride Week map. *Pride Week program (who does what/where in town/when) Area 2 PRIDE HOUSE *Film promotional videos for Pride. *Edit these before they are posted. *Social media posts about: The schedule, the different info tables and what/who you can find in the other rooms *Artist Alley: who is coming + times *Stage schedule: which acts/when. Area 3: After 8:00 PM *Drag show: The artists + schedule *After party: which DJs and when. Area 4: *Plan interviews during the Pride parade: Who does what *Make sure you have materials for this: camera, batteries, microphone + its accessories. *Make sure there are goodie bags for those you interview. *Practice making live videos for our Instagram/TikTok channel before Pride.
When and where the opportunity takes place
Spring to Fall 2026, with extra focus on the last week of September. Physical attendance is required at the day of the event, the 26th of September. Place: UKK (Vaksala Torg 1 753 31 Uppsala). Time: 10:00-03:00 (no shift will exceed 8 hours)
