Volunteers for Uppsala Pride 2026 AFTERPARTY
As a volunteer you will be part of organizing Uppsala's annual Pride festival. The event will run for the full day on Saturday 26th of September 2026 at Uppsala Pride House (Uppsala Konsert & Kongress). Uppsala Pride 2025 had about 4000 visitors, and we expect a similar amount this year.
If you enjoy party environments, staying up late, and making sure everyone's happy - this could be the perfect task for you!
For the Uppsala Pride Afterparty, we're searching for volunteers who can be the trusted adults for our guests at the party. You will be the vessel between the guests and the guards, reporting anything you see that's troublesome, and/or supporting anyone who needs help. Tasks are assigned based on wishes and ability, and you will be working alongside a team.
Having a driver's license and access to a car would be beneficial.
Volunteering is open to both English and Swedish speakers.
Minimum age for application to this task is 18.

Minimum commitment
The Afterparty starts at 22:00 and ends at 03.00. Help needed for cleanup until 04.00. You will be the vessel between the guests and the guards, reporting anything you see that's troublesome, and/or supporting anyone who needs help. You'll possibly help the DJ to rig and take down the table. After the party is finished, we will help packing down and cleaning up before driving the props to the office at Ljusbärargatan 2.
