Organize an international conference for Western Sahara
Would you like to help organize an international conference? Every two years in the Western Sahara refugee camps in Algeria, we organize a solidarity conference that brings together civil society, politicians, journalists, solidarity groups and activists from all over the world to deepen their understanding of Western Sahara, network, develop skills and strengthen the global movement for Western Sahara. The meeting offers space for meaningful exchange, networking at the grassroots level and direct involvement in the Western Sahara struggle with the goal of creating a more coordinated and committed international solidarity movement.
As a volunteer in the project, you will contribute with:
International outreach to organizations, activists and networks
Contact with politicians, journalists and influencers
Coordination of participants and registration
Planning and administration for the conference

Minimum commitment
We are looking for someone who enjoys following up on contacts over time, for example by keeping an eye on expressions of interest and ensuring that dialogue continues. You choose how much and when you can contribute. The work will be done remotely until the conference is held in January 2027.
