Save the children Lund are looking for volunteers for Kids in Transit
Are you interested in migration issues and children’s rights? Would you like to get volunteer experience in an international NGO and spend a few evenings this semester engaging with kids? If so, please consider applying! It is an international project, hence it is not required to speak Swedish, although having basic skills would be an advantage. The Kids in Transit program is recruiting volunteers to start as soon as possible. Kids in Transit organises visits on a weekly basis (Wednesdays) for the children residing at the migration agency in Jägersro with the aim of creating a safe and welcoming environment for them.

Minimum commitment
The project ideally requires the volunteer to set of time off once a week to join the meetings (Wednesdays) although the volunteer is not required to come every week.
When and where the opportunity takes place
The project takes place at Migrationsverket in Jägersro, Malmö (Jägersrovägen 160). Potential to join the group going to Migrationsverket in Arlöv (Kronetorpsvägen 10) is also available.
