Vice Group Leader for EWB KTH

Do you want to contribute to a more sustainable future by combining engineering with meaningful volunteer engagement? Engineers Without Borders at KTH is looking for a Vice Group Leader who wants to help develop and strengthen our student group and grow into a future leadership role.

The current Management Team is in its final year at KTH and will step down in summer 2026. To ensure a smooth transition, we are recruiting a Vice Group Leader who starts this spring, joins the handover process, helps recruit and shape the next Management Team, and then continues in a leadership position during the 2026–2027 academic year.

As Vice Group Leader, you will work closely with the Group Leader to guide the organization and support leaders across all active areas. You will take part in coordination and development meetings, support area leaders in their roles and growth, ensure activities are aligned and moving forward, and help shape the future structure and culture of EWB KTH.

The role is flexible and shaped in dialogue with the Group Leader, based on your strengths and interests. A key part of your mission is building trusting relationships and helping "steer the boat" in a direction you and the Management Team believe in. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be part of the long-term development of EWB KTH and carry the organization into its next chapter.

We look forward to your application!

Minimum commitment

The workload is flexible and adapted to your studies. You are expected to participate in regular meetings and ongoing activities, and to stay engaged throughout the handover period and the following academic year in a leadership role. You should have at least one academic year left at KTH after the current academic year.
