Head of IT
Action10 is an entirely volunteer driven organization, with the mission to support local entrepreneurs in poor areas of Sub-Saharan African countries.
We are looking for a diligent, passionate and organized person with experience in managing and maintaining IT services and tools to join Action10 as Head of IT.
This is a critical role within Action10. Our Head of IT is the guardian of our coollaboration platforms OnlyOffice and Notion and our e-mail system. Responsibilities also include the web hosting of our WordPress website, upgrading and installing software as per need, and expedient troubleshooting to resolve IT issues.
Your profile
- Degree in computer science, information technology, information systems; BSc or equivalent
- Experience of managing and maintaining IT services and tools; 2-3 years
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and IT security
- Advanced knowledge of web hosting solutions and WordPress
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
Commitment
- 4 work hours per week, incl meetings.
- Attendance at monthly meetings on site in Stockholm
Board: First (1st) Tuesday of every second month, 6-8 pm.
Staff meetings: First (1st) Tuesday of every second month, 6-8 pm. - Attendance online
With partners in Africa: First (1st) Saturday of every second month
Intention to remain with the organisation for two years or more.

Minimum commitment
