Engineers Without Borders Sweden / Ingenjörer utan gränser

International Project Coordinator for EWB KTH

Are you interested in global development and want to work on real-world projects? Engineers Without Borders KTH is looking for an International Project Coordinator to help shape our international initiatives during the upcoming academic year.

As part of the Management Team, you’ll support project work at KTH by guiding student teams, making sure projects follow EWB Sweden’s guidelines, contributing to development, and helping recruit volunteers.

In this role, you’ll gain experience in project management, humanitarian engineering, and leadership - while making a real impact.
No prior experience is needed - just bring your curiosity and motivation. You’ll likely enjoy this role if you have:

  •  A passion for Engineers Without Borders’ mission
  •  Strong people skills and enjoy working in a structured, collaborative way
  •  Experience in project work or coordination (a plus)

We look forward to your application!

Minimum commitment

The workload is split between work within the Management Team and coordinating international projects. It’s flexible and depends on how many projects are running and their scope, but on average it’s about 6 hours per week, including meetings, activities, and some admin. During May ’26, the pace is a bit slower, but you’re still expected to be available to take part in the handover from your predecessor and help gather lessons learned to set a strong foundation for the year ahead.

When and where the opportunity takes place

The role is based at KTH in Stockholm and includes a mix of on-campus and remote work. It runs during the academic year, with flexible hours depending on meetings and project work. Since we’re recruiting the next generation of leaders at EWB KTH, you’ll need to have at least one academic year left at KTH after the current one. Note: EWB-KTH is a student-run organization and only accepts applications from current KTH students.
