Volunteer: Sustainability Week Planning Group
About the Role:
Are you passionate about the planet and people? We are looking for motivated youth to join our specialized working groups to plan and execute an in-depth Sustainability Week in Uppsala during Week 43.
This project explores the intersection of humanitarian aid and environmental sustainability. You will work in a creative team to organize workshops, lectures, or community actions that inspire other young people to live and act more sustainably.
What You’ll Do:
- Brainstorm & Design: Decide the themes and activities for the week.
- Project Management: Manage tasks like booking venues, contacting speakers, or handling a budget.
- Outreach: Spread the word through social media and local Uppsala networks.
- Execution: Be on the ground during Week 43 to ensure events run smoothly.
Skills We Are Looking For:
- Collaboration: A "team player" attitude.
- Creativity: Thinking of engaging ways to discuss sustainability.
- Organization: Keeping track of deadlines and communicating clearly.
- Initiative: A "can-do" spirit and a willingness to lead tasks.
- Passion: A genuine interest in the Red Cross Youth’s mission.
