About Volontärbyrån

Volontärbyrån connects dedicated individuals with non-profit organizations. We achieve this by gathering volunteering opportunities from across Sweden in one place and providing support to non-profit organizations on matters related to volunteer engagement.

Volontärbyrån was founded in 2002 by Amelie Silfverstolpe. Through our online platform, organizations can post volunteer opportunities, allowing individuals to apply. We collaborate with NGOs, municipalities, and companies, all with a shared focus on fostering volunteer engagement. Volontärbyrån operates as a non-profit initiative within the interest organization, Forum - idéburna organisationer med social inriktning. Forum works to ensure that civil society is recognized as a vital part of societal development, contributing to both democracy and public welfare.
