Every child is born with equal rights! Save the Children's goal is to maintain, strengthen and inform about these rights. We at Save the Children Lund run several projects in which we need your help to stand up for the rights of all children. Whether you have 1 hour to spare every two weeks or 3 hours a week to spare, your effort can make a big difference.
A commitment to children's rights can look very different. That's why we run different projects to make different efforts for children locally. We carry out projects for these projects in three different areas.
We fight for children's rights
- Children's right to know about (BRAVO) - workshops for primary school students about children's rights.
We give children meaningful free time
- The adventure group – outdoor leisure activities for children and young adults.
- On equal terms: Klostergården - leisure activities for children in the Klostergården area.
- RB Funk – leisure activities for children and young people with functional disabilities.
- Kids in transit (KIT) – leisure activities for children at the Jägersro transit accommodation in Malmö.
We help children succeed in school
- Ellen and Allan – conversation groups for girls and boys in primary school.
- Homework help - help for those who do not get the help they need at home
- Jasmin – study and life coaching for students.
What happens after the application? You will be contacted and invited to an informal interview where you will find out more about our local association and which projects we carry out. During the interview, we will get to know each other and find a project that suits you perfectly. If you wish to be active in a particular project, state this in your application. We will also ask you to provide an extract from the crime register and complete our course in Child safeguarding.

One hour every other week, but there are opportunities to be more active than that.

Depending on the project, some are mainly daytime during the weekdays, whilst some are weekends.
