Contribute to the circular economy with your WordPress skills!
LOOPIS is creating a service for giving and receiving items – in the simplest and most fun way possible. We have built a prototype where 300+ members have already circulated 7,000+ items. To scale up our operations, we are now looking for one or more web developers to help shape the next phase of development.
LOOPIS consists of a web app for item listings (https://loopis.app) and a physical cabinet for exchanging reserved items. The web app is built on WordPress and needs further development to handle new features, increased traffic, additional cabinets, and local instances. As the complexity of the system grows, our self-taught web developer needs support from skilled, innovative, and collaborative coders.
You need skills in:

- Developing themes and plugins for WordPress (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Managing code using GitHub
- Communicating via Discord
- Switching between teamwork and independent work
We're currently developing and testing the concept in Bagarmossen, Stockholm. During 2026 our goal is to expand to the neighbouring district of Skarpnäck. It’s an advantage if you live near these areas, as it allows you to try and use our service, but remote work is of course an option.
