Volunteering is the very foundation of the Red Cross' work. You are needed!

As a recruiter, you act as a bridge between our operations and new volunteers. In consultation with Gothenburg's volunteer leaders within the Red Cross, you ensure the quality of the recruitment process by spreading information about the operations, receiving and introducing new volunteers in a good way. You will become part of a creative recruitment team whose mission is to support volunteer leaders and ensure that the Red Cross grows!

Job Description
You are expected to:

Collect recruitment needs from the operations
Administer and mediate assignments in relevant channels
Receive and manage expressions of interest
Interview and match volunteers to the right assignment
Introduce new volunteers to the volunteer leaders of the activities
Be a support in the introduction and training of new volunteers
If necessary, organize and participate in information meetings
Within the framework of your assignment, be part of the Swedish Red Cross's crisis preparedness and be prepared to expand your involvement in the event of a crisis.

Scope
You undertake to:

Have a continuous dialogue with the activities and their volunteer leaders
Manage ongoing administration and handling of assignments and expressions of interest
Together with the team, contribute ideas to develop the recruitment process in creative ways

The time commitment is approximately 4 hours per week, but can vary depending on needs and events in the world. The assignment can be completed both remotely from your own computer and together in a group at the circle's premises.

You are passionate about the Swedish Red Cross's humanistic outlook and humanitarian values. The Red Cross's fundamental principles guide all volunteer work, and as part of the assignment, you sign a confidentiality agreement and undergo the mandatory training and introductions that are required.
