Project Designers

Are you motivated and interested in volunteering with a non-profit organization?

We welcome your applications! To expand our area of intervention and connect with new partners in Sweden and through the world, we plan to submit project proposals for seeking funding to Swedish government agencies and institutions, as well as certain foundations. To achieve this, we need additional staff to strengthen our team. Therefore, we are seeking individuals with experience in project writing.

Benefits for volunteers: If a project is approved, volunteers will participate in its implementation whether the project is carried out in Sweden or abroad. Furthermore, it will be an opportunity for volunteers to acquire new skills and enhance their CVs.

Minimum commitment

The commitment will depend with the availability of the volunteers .It can be long-term as long as the volunteers wish continue with us.

When and where the opportunity takes place

We are based in Jönköping and there is no work timetable to impose to volunteers.They will carry out their task either online or in their locality . The presence in the office will be occasional.

Solidaritet för Ungdomens Framtid

• Created in 2019, Solidaritet för Ungdomens Framtid is a non-profit organization registered in Sweden. It is independent, meaning that it has no political affiliation and is not associated with any religious denomination. • Our mission • The organization’s mission is to provide young people necessary tools, skills, opportunities, and support to reach full development so that they become responsible and engaged actors in their society; and to create a favorable environment to their blossoming based on fundamental values such as personal development, solidarity, innovation, and responsibility. Indeed, the organization strives to offer equal opportunities to all young people, regardless of their origin, socio-economic status, or gender. We encourage cooperation between young people and teamwork. We incite creativity and innovation, inspire young people to think differently, and propose solutions to crucial issues such as poverty, youth exclusion, discrimination, climate change, etc... We teach the importance of individual and collective responsibility for sustainable development, in order to build a better future for the next generations. • To increase opportunities for young people to be of service to themselves and others, we participate in projects within the Erasmus+ Programme and we plan also to participate in the European Solidarity Corps Programme. • By committing to supporting young people in enriching European experiences, we foster their personal and professional development, while promoting civic engagement and solidarity through concrete projects. • In addition to the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport, we also wish to involve more young people and the organization in solidarity activities, primarily volunteering, with the aim of strengthening cohesion, solidarity, democracy, European identity and active citizenship in the European Union and beyond, by addressing societal and humanitarian challenges on the ground, and by promoting sustainable development, social inclusion and equal opportunities. •
