Defensive Coordinator for Womens team in American Football
The Marvels women’s team was established in April 2014 and has played in the league since 2015. The team trains twice a week, and in the 2023 season they achieved their best result ever, winning a Swedish Championship silver medal. Marvels Women is a dedicated group of players and coaches who are eager to continue developing – both as individuals and as a team.
We are seeking a defensive coordinator with solid knowledge of American football and defensive play.

As DC, you will be responsible for the team’s defensive strategy, technical training, and match planning on the defensive side.
Your responsibilities:
- Plan and lead the defense
- Maintain or develop the defensive playbook
- Develop individual players and defensive units
- Contribute to the team’s overall match strategy
- Collaborate with the HC and other coaches
We believe you:
- Have experience in American football – ideally as a coach, but playing experience with a defensive focus is also valuable. We have support functions for your development.
- Are analytical, clear, and motivating
- Can adapt instructions to players with different experience levels

Currently we also have an ad out for Head Coach, there is nothing hindering these two roles to be merged. Already on the team are two position coaches and one OC.
Minimum commitment
The assignment is on a yearly basis. The team practices twice a week february - november and the season is between easter and midsummer. It ends up being 6-8 games all over the nordic and playoffs (2 games)
When and where the opportunity takes place
All our teams practices at Kviberg. The ladies practices monday's and wednesday's but the assignment is not only to be there during the practice.
