Head coach for womens team, in American football
The Marvels women’s team was established in April 2014 and has played in the league since 2015. The team trains twice a week, and in the 2023 season they achieved their best result ever, winning a Swedish Championship silver medal. Marvels Women is a dedicated group of players and coaches who are eager to continue developing – both as individuals and as a team.
Head Coach (HC)
We are looking for a leader who can take overall responsibility for the team and drive our sporting development forward. As HC, you will plan, lead, and structure training sessions and match activities together with the rest of the coaching staff.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the coaching staff
- Plan training programs and development goals
- Support and develop both new and experienced players
- Create structure and continuity in the team’s operations
We believe you:
- Have experience coaching team sports, maybe even American football but it is not crucial.
- Are a clear, positive, and inspiring leader
- Have strong organizational skills and enjoy taking responsibility
- Want to help build the team for the long term

Currently we also have an ad out for Defensive coordinator. Already on the team are two position coaches and one OC, offensive coordinator (unless you prefer to create your own staff group.)
Minimum commitment
The assignment is on a yearly basis. The team practices twice a week february - november and the season is between easter and midsummer. It ends up being 6-8 games all over the nordic and playoffs (2 games)
When and where the opportunity takes place
All our teams practices at Kviberg in Gothenburg. The ladies practices monday's and wednesday's but the assignment is not only to be there during the practice.
