Volunteer Coordinators wanted for Uppsala Pride 2026!
As one of our volunteer coordinators for Uppsala Pride 2026, you will be the glue between our volunteers and the rest of the Pride organisation. The coordinators make sure that the volunteers know what to do, where and when to be, who to talk to if they have questions, etc. Communication and organisation are key skills.

The volunteer coordination will happen in three fases:
- Finding volunteers. That means making ads like the one you're currently reading, spreading flyers, and working together with the social media team. This fase, going on for about half a year, also involves keeping contact with the volunteers, and is pretty low intensive.
- Informing the volunteers. That means informing the volunteers of their tasks, and making sure they have everything they need to feel safe and do their tasks at the event. Some info you'll be ready to share right away, but usually we also hold meetings leading up to the event to meet the volunteers and introduce them to their tasks.
- Delegetaing tasks. At Pride itself you will delegate tasks, instruct volunteers, and ensure that all the work gets done. You will have the rest of the planning group and other experienced volunteers helping you out with this.

Minimum commitment
From ca 1-2 hours a week at the start, to 5-10 hours a week in September. On the day of Uppsala Pride, September 26, you will need to put in up to 8 hours.
When and where the opportunity takes place
The absolute majority of the work can be performed in your own time at any place, or via online meetings. Uppsala Pride will take place at Uppsala Konsert och Kongress in central Uppsala.
