Members for the Uppsala Pride Planning Group 2026 wanted!
With only 10 months to go, RFSL Uppsala is putting together the planning group for 2026's Uppsala Pride on 26 September. Do you want to help throwing the biggest queer party of the year? Join the planning group today!
Tasks vary between roles, but generally, they involve communicating with people and organisations, scheduling events, organising activities and volunteer tasks, and participating in meetings with your fellow planners where you support each other.
At the event itself, you will be one of several people responsible for everything going smoothly, and delegating tasks to volunteers.
Though this may sound daunting, routines for organizing Uppsala Pride are already in place, as RFSL Uppsala have years of experience doing this. Additionally, the more people are in the planning group, the smaller is the individual responsibility.
We are particularly looking for someone who fits in either of these categories:

We are particularly looking for someone who fits in either of these categories:
- People experienced at working with volunteers.
- People that are comfortable working with social media, in front of and behind the camera.
- People passionate about Pride. The task does demand a lot of time and energy but belive us when we say that it is all worth it.
- People who have been volunteers for RFSL or other organisations in the past.
- Solution-focused people. Unexpected things allways happens when planning a big event, but together we can solve almost anything.
- People with a bit of extra time on their hands during spring/summer 2026.
Minimum commitment
Ca 1-2 hours per week at the beginning, to ca 5-10 hours a week in September.
When and where the opportunity takes place
The absolute majority of the work can be performed in your own time at any place, or via online meetings. Uppsala Pride will take place at Uppsala Konsert och Kongress in central Uppsala
