Global Shapers Malmö is delighted to launch the call for applications to join the team and the community and we are looking for leaders, aged 18 to 27, with great drive for individual and collective impact.

Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of inspiring young people under the age of 30 working together to address local, regional, and global challenges. With more than 10,000 members, the Global Shapers Community spans 510+ city-based hubs in 154 countries.

In each city, teams of Shapers self-organise to create projects that address the needs of their community. Projects are wide-ranging – from responding to disasters and combating poverty, to fighting climate change and building inclusive communities. Shapers are diverse in expertise, education, income and race, but are united by their desire to bring about change.

CRITERIA - As an optimal candidate, you (including, but not limited to):

care about the city you live in and are generally aware of the challenges it faces
have a passion for encouraging positive impact on society and the world at large
are someone who thrives in teamwork and collaborative environments
have resilience and can overcome failure
have experience working in civil society, governmental, NGO, and/or corporate settings
are able to deliver on the expected 2-4 hours a week, project dependant
are under the age of 30 at time of selection

"Global Shapers Malmö är en del av det globala nätverket som skapats av World Economic Forum. Vårt uppdrag är tydligt: vi är unga ledare som arbetar tillsammans för att göra en varaktig positiv inverkan på vår stad och vårt samhälle. Vi tror på att forma en bättre framtid genom innovation, samarbete och utbildning. Vi är en mångsidig grupp unga människor från olika yrkesbakgrunder, alla dedikerade till att utveckla nästa generation av ledare. Genom vårt arbete strävar vi efter att skapa en rättvisare och mer inkluderande samhälle. Våra projekt och initiativ är inriktade på att lösa några av de mest angelägna utmaningarna i Malmö och att stärka våra samhällen. Som Global Shapers arbetar vi tätt ihop med andra aktörer, inklusive företag, regeringar och icke-statliga organisationer, för att maximera vår påverkan. Vi tror på kraften i samarbete och nätverkande för att skapa positiv förändring.
