Wanted: Volunteers for EU-center

The Salvation Army's EU-center is a social center at Fridhemsplan. We offer basic needs support (food, showers, laundry services), job coaching and information about the Swedish society. Our guests are EU citizens, third country nationals and asylym seekers aged 18+. Society has limited opportunities to meet the needs and support of our guests. Therefore, our task is to bridge the gaps where society is not enough.

As a volunteer, we would appreciate your help in the kitchen, the heart of our center. However, there is also room for your personal interests and skills. Our guests and staff speak many different languages, so you don't need to speak Swedish. Our center is open Mon-Fri from 8-13, so it would be good if you're available during these times. We prefer you helping us out on a regular basis, for example, once a week or every other week.
